The General Data Protection Law (LGPD) is the Brazilian legislation that aims to protect the fundamental rights of freedom, privacy and the free development of the personality of the natural person.

Personal Data is information relating to a natural person that has the ability to make such person identified or identifiable. Some examples of personal data are name, email, CPF, IP, date of birth, etc.

It is sensitive personal data, according to the LGPD, those that can cause some kind of discrimination and therefore require a higher level of protection.
